The balcony at Farmgate Café offers self-service from the trestle table; seating here overlooks the stalls and fountain in the market below. With Liam O'Leary at the helm, the menu is written up every morning, hand-cut sandwiches are made to order (fresh or toasted), and a delicious display of cakes are set out each day.
Food on the Balcony
For breakfast, fresh soda bread, scones, pastries and toast are served with jam or marmalade, porridge, granola and seasonal fruit are also available each morning.
Lunch on the balcony is similar to the dinning room with soup, chowder, speciality dishes, as well toasted, hand-cut and open sandwiches.
We serve tea, coffee and cakes both in the morning and afternoon, and we also have a range of gluten free cakes and desserts.
